List of Postures

We are a member of the IYSF and follow their competition rules, these can be viewed in full by visiting www.iysf.org. The below advice is a brief guide.
– All routines have 4 compulsory postures and 2 optional postures.
– Postures must be performed in the correct order, with the correct entry and exit, and facing the correct direction to the judges as per the IYSF rules.
– Postures must be held in complete stillness for 5 seconds, any posture held less than 3 seconds in complete stillness receives a zero score.
– Routines should last no longer than 3 minutes.
– Participants must submit their postures on the entry form. Postures may be changed at any point up to and including the event registration time on the day. If a participant wishes to change any posture after the event registration they must loudly verbally announce the posture on stage prior to performing it.
– Any questions feel free to contact us at UKYSF as we are always happy to help.
